Subtract: The Untapped Science of LessOn Friday, December 1, Leidy Klotz, who is a UVA faculty member and author, will give a talk in the Harrison/Small auditorium about his book, “Subtract: The Untapped Science of Less.”

Organizer Ellen Ramsey says:

A dozen Library staff met twice this Fall for the community read discussions, and we are excited that more members of the Library and University community have this opportunity join us to learn from the author. Community read participants expressed appreciation for the book’s new perspective and way of thinking, and shared takeaways including:

“Subtraction takes REAL effort. Plan for that!” and “Deciding what TO do implicitly makes us decide what NOT to do.”

The event is free and open to all. Sign up to attend “Subtract: The Untapped Science of Less.”
