Loan period
Books and dissertations/theses: 90 days (12 weeks)
Microfilm/microfiche: 30 days

Videos: Circulate on a case-by-case basis
Sound recordings: ACRL libraries: 10 days, no renewals; non-ACRL: circulate on a case-by-case basis; please contact us. Must return via UPS 2nd Day Air or FedEx.

We prefer to deliver articles using Odyssey or web delivery. We no longer use Ariel.

Charges for US and its territories
NOTE: All charges are in US dollars unless otherwise indicated.
Charges for IFM loans:
Books: $18
Photocopies: $18 for up to 20 pages, $.50 per additional page
Microfilm, microfiche: $18 per request
Charges for non-IFM loans:
Books: $25 ($20 loan fee + $5 billing fee)
Photocopies: $25 for up to 20 pages, $.50 per additional page ($20 loan fee + $5 billing fee)
Microfilm, microfiche: $25 per request ($20 loan fee + $5 billing fee)
No additional charge for Odyssey or Ariel delivery; $5 for FAX delivery in VA; $10 for FAX delivery, no FAX available outside continental U.S.
RUSH services available upon request for an additional $25 charge (if we can supply item within 24 hours). The $25 fee includes either UPS, Ariel, or FAX delivery. IFLA vouchers/coupons accepted: 3 coupons per loan or photocopy up to 20 pages.
Replacement charges for lost materials:
Books: Assessed on a case-by-case basis (determined by call number)
Dissertations & Theses: $.05 per page plus $10 binding fee, or a minimum of $40
Audio or video recordings: Assessed on a case-by-case basis
Microfilm: $100 per reel
Microfiche: $25 per title
